1. About Meli

Meli is a jewelry brand offering fine and fashion jewelry, including made-to-order and custom pieces.

Meli is currently operated under the name “Meli.” Any future legal entity through which Meli operates may be substituted for or added to these Terms as appropriate.

2. Products

We make every effort to ensure that product descriptions, images, dimensions, colors, materials, gemstones, and other product information are accurate.

Because jewelry may be photographed under different lighting conditions and displayed on different screens, slight variations in color, appearance, finish, or proportions may occur.

For made-to-order and handmade pieces, minor variations may also occur between individual pieces. These variations are part of the nature of individually produced jewelry and are not necessarily defects.

3. Made-to-Order Products

Many Meli pieces are made to order rather than held in inventory.

When you place an order for a made-to-order piece, production begins specifically for you. Production and delivery times are estimates and may vary depending on materials, customization, production volume, supplier availability, shipping, and other circumstances outside our control.

Estimated production and delivery timelines are provided on the applicable product page or at checkout.

By placing an order for a made-to-order piece, you acknowledge and agree that the item is produced specifically for you.

4. Custom Orders

Custom jewelry may include modifications to materials, gemstones, dimensions, engraving, finishes, or other design elements.

Custom orders are generally non-refundable once production has begun, except where otherwise required by applicable law.

We may contact you to confirm specifications before beginning production. You are responsible for reviewing and approving any measurements, sizes, names, initials, engravings, or other information provided for a custom order.

Meli is not responsible for errors resulting from incorrect information provided by the customer.

5. Pricing and Payment

All prices are displayed in U.S. dollars unless otherwise stated.

Prices may change at any time, but changes will not affect orders that have already been placed and accepted.

Payment must be successfully received before an order enters production.

We reserve the right to correct pricing or product information errors and to cancel an order if an obvious pricing or listing error occurred. If we cancel an order for this reason, any payment received will be refunded.

6. Order Acceptance

Submitting an order does not necessarily mean that Meli has accepted the order.

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order for reasons including, but not limited to:

If we cancel an order after payment has been received, we will refund the amount paid for the cancelled order.

7. Shipping

Shipping information and estimated delivery timelines are provided during checkout or on the applicable product page.

Once an order has been transferred to the shipping carrier, delivery is subject to the carrier's handling and delivery schedule.

Meli is not responsible for delays caused by shipping carriers, customs, weather, natural disasters, strikes, incorrect addresses, or other circumstances outside our reasonable control.

Customers are responsible for providing an accurate shipping address.

8. Returns and Exchanges

Unless otherwise stated on the applicable product page, made-to-order and custom jewelry is final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged, except where required by applicable law.

If an item arrives damaged, defective, or materially different from what was ordered, please contact us promptly after delivery at Hello@Thisismeli.com with your order information and photographs of the issue.

We will review the matter and, where appropriate, may offer a repair, replacement, or other reasonable resolution.

9. Jewelry Care

Exposure to chemicals, perfumes, lotions, chlorine, salt water, moisture, abrasion, excessive heat, or improper storage may affect metals, gemstones, finishes, plating, or other materials.

Meli is not responsible for ordinary wear and tear, damage caused by improper use or care, loss of gemstones resulting from damage or impact, discoloration caused by environmental exposure, or damage resulting from failure to follow recommended care instructions.
