Layered necklaces look effortless, but a few habits keep them from turning into a knot. Here is the method.
Start with one focal piece
Choose one pendant to be the star, such as the Omnia Medallion at 20 mm. Everything else supports it.

Vary the lengths
Space your necklaces a few centimeters apart so each pendant sits on its own line. A shorter piece near the collarbone, a medium one below, and a longer one at the chest is a simple pattern.
Vary the weight
Pair one heavier pendant with a finer piece, like a small initial. The Initial Pendant works well against a larger medallion.
Keep the metal consistent
Mixing gold and silver can look good, but it helps to keep the majority in one metal so the layers feel like a set.
Prevent tangles
- Fasten each clasp before you put a necklace away.
- Store each necklace separately.
- Put on the longest one first and the shortest last, and take them off in reverse.
