What Does Made to Order Mean? How Meli Jewelry Is Made

Omnia Bracelet, a 14K gold-plated bangle with a small heart detail

Every Meli piece is made to order. If you have not bought jewelry this way before, it is worth knowing what it means and what to expect.

What made to order means

Instead of pulling a finished piece from a shelf, your jewelry is fabricated after you place your order. That means each order is made for you, and it also means it will not arrive the same day.

How long does it take?

Most Meli pieces take about 2 weeks for fabrication and delivery. Some pieces, including the Omnia Earrings, the Spira Pendant and the Omnia Bracelet, take 2 to 3 weeks. The timeline is listed on each product page.

Why we work this way

Made-to-order production means your piece can be made in the size and style you choose, from a ring size to a customized letter on the Initial Pendant.

How to plan ahead

  • Order early if you are buying for a birthday, holiday or milestone.
  • Confirm your ring size before you order.
  • Check each listing to see whether a chain is included and what size the piece is.
